Our Virtual & Distance Learning Program
With the schools closed, Maarifa School is offering a comprehensive Virtual and Distance Learning for Playgroup | PP1 | PP2 | Grade 1–3 classes through Google Classroom and Google Meet.
This is an interactive and fun program that has been engaging children in various activities with the aim to:
- Enhance communication and language development. Deliberate interaction of the learners with the teacher and their peers encourages continuous language development.
- Engage in developmental writing and reading skills.
- Develop cognitive abilities through performing various hands-on activities including weaving, knitting, paper crafts, and watercolour painting.
- Encourage socializing. The platform enables the learners to continue interacting with school friends, hence enhancing their social skills.
- Promote active screen time vs passive screen time. The online classes have been an alternative to time spent on TV and other social media channels.
- Provide guided home-based life skill activities and encourage games and movement activities at home.
